Featured Legacy Artist Kasim Kanasavi
Kasim Kanasavi was an acclaimed Indian contemporary artist, painter, and art educator who dedicated more than 25 years to his artistic practice. Renowned for his exceptional drawing skills, confident line work, and intricately composed paintings, he developed a distinctive visual language that blended imagination with technical mastery. His celebrated work Gandhi Vichardhara 2 earned him the prestigious Karnataka Rajyotsava Award in 2014. Gallery TICA is proud to present Kasim as our inaugural Legacy Artist, preserving and sharing his original artworks and museum-quality fine art prints for collectors, art lovers, and future generations. Although his untimely passing in 2024 deeply affected the art community, his artistic legacy continues to inspire audiences across India and beyond.
