We welcome applications from art students, emerging and established contemporary artists working across painting, sculpture, photography, printmaking, mixed media, digital art, and other visual art practices.

Who can apply?

Gallery TICA welcomes artists aged 16 and above, including student, emerging, and established contemporary artists. We accept applications from artists working across a wide range of mediums, including painting, sculpture, collage, photography, digital art, ceramics, mixed media, and other contemporary art practices. We value diverse artistic voices and encourage artists from different backgrounds, experiences, and stages of their creative journey to apply.

How long does it take to review my application?

We review applications every alternate day. All artists will be informed of the result, regardless of whether they are shortlisted.

Do I need a portfolio?

Yes. We recommend submitting a single PDF that includes your artist statement, biography, a professional artist photograph, studio photographs (if available), and at least 5–7 recent artworks with the title, medium, and dimensions for each work. This is only for the initial review.

I don't have a professional artist profile or portfolio. What should I do?

If you don't have a formal portfolio, that's perfectly fine. Simply submit your best 5–7 artworks along with your basic details, and we'll be happy to consider your application for review.

Is there another way to apply to Gallery TICA?

Yes. While we recommend applying through our online application form, you may also submit your application by emailing your portfolio and supporting documents to curations@gallerytica.com.

If you are a person with a disability or have limited computer literacy and are unable to complete the online application, please send us a WhatsApp message at +91 962-552-2805. A member of our team will get in touch to assist you with the application process.

Is there an application fee?

No. Both the application submission and artist onboarding are 100% free.

Will every applicant receive a response?

Due to the high volume of submissions, we may initially contact only shortlisted artists. However, applicants who submit a complete and properly prepared application can expect to receive a response via email, even if they are not shortlisted.
