Have Questions About Selling Your Art Online with TICA?

Frequently Asked Questions

Is TICA just another e-commerce website for art?

No. While TICA is a digital-first platform, we go far beyond online sales. Our focus is on building a thriving artist community through learning, mentorship, and collaboration—both online and in person. Think of TICA as a contemporary gallery that operates digitally but also curates physical events and exhibitions to showcase your work.

Can I upload my artworks directly to the TICA website?

At this stage, TICA does not support self-uploading. Your dedicated artist manager handles all uploads, carefully curating and maintaining your profile to ensure consistency and quality.

What parts of my account can I manage on my own?

With support from your dedicated TICA representative, you can update details such as pricing, discounts, artwork stories, resumes, and personal or bank information.

How much commission does TICA charges?

Commissions depend on the service. For regular original artworks, it’s approximately 30%. Your TICA representative will provide details for selling originals, prints, workshops, and gallery events.

Do I have to be exclusive to TICA?

No. We believe in your autonomy. We ask only for clarity around availability and good-faith communication.

What if I’m a self-taught artist?

Welcome. Both Student and Emerging pathways are open to self-taught artists. We care about the integrity of your practice and your willingness to learn.
