ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Resonance – 17 explores the subtle movement of energy through the organic structures of nature. Inspired by the deep and often unseen processes that shape the natural world, the painting considers how forms emerge, dissolve and reconnect within an ongoing cycle of transformation.

Flowing lines and layered structures create a sense of continuity, suggesting connections that extend beyond what is immediately visible. Rather than presenting nature as a fixed or separate entity, the composition evokes a living system in which forms and energies remain in constant exchange. The resulting visual rhythm is felt rather than explicitly defined, inviting the viewer to reflect on the underlying forces that link the earth, organic life and the processes of change.

Through this interplay of movement, structure and abstraction, the painting offers a contemplative interpretation of nature's inner rhythms and the quiet interconnectedness of existence.

PROCESS AND TECHIQUES

The painting begins with a base acrylic wash, establishing the tonal foundation. Through an intuitive process, the artist develops layered organic forms and flowing lines, introducing oil paint to refine contours, blend colour transitions and create smooth, interconnected structures. Tonal variation and layered application enhance the sense of depth, movement and continuity.

" My paintings are an attempt to make the invisible connection perceptible—not by showing nature as it appears on the surface, but by exploring what lies beneath it: its depth, its energy, its hidden stories, its structures, its connections and its quiet rhythm. "
